Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 May 2026
By using StageFest you agree to these terms. They apply to the mobile app, the web admin console, and any related services operated by StageSub AB ("we", "us").
1. The service
StageFest helps chamber music festivals organise schedules, ensembles, rooms, rehearsals, lessons, and communications. You can create festivals (as an admin) or participate in festivals you are invited to (as a musician, teacher, student, production crew, or volunteer).
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it updated.
- Each account is personal. Do not share login credentials.
3. Free vs Pro
The free plan allows up to 20 musicians per festival and adds a "Powered by StageFest" line on exported PDFs. The Pro plan (€149 per festival) lifts the musician limit, removes the watermark, and enables festival cloning. Pro is a one-time purchase per festival, valid for the lifetime of that festival.
Payments are processed by Apple (iOS App Store) and are subject to their refund policies. Subscriptions to Pro do not auto-renew.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use StageFest for unlawful purposes.
- Upload content you do not have rights to (e.g. copyrighted sheet music you do not own a licence for).
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or impersonate others.
- Post sexual content of any kind (including nudity and explicit material), hate speech, doxxing, or threats of violence. Zero tolerance — accounts are suspended on first report. Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) is additionally reported to authorities.
- Spam, send bulk unsolicited messages, or run automated scripts against the app.
- Attempt to bypass security, scrape data, or overload our servers.
- Reverse-engineer or redistribute the app outside the App Store.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. We will give you notice unless doing so would aggravate the harm.
5. Reporting & moderation
Any chat message, broadcast, or uploaded file can be reported to StageFest via long-press (mobile) or right-click (web). Reports go directly to StageFest support and we aim to act on them within 24 hours.
Festival admins can moderate the chats they are part of. Ensemble group chats are private to their members — an admin only sees one while they have joined it — so moderation there is primarily report-based, reviewed by StageFest at the platform level. For complaints about a festival admin's own conduct or unresponsive admins, contact us at support@stagesub.app.
You can also block any user from a message they sent — their messages disappear from your view and they can no longer message you. Blocks are private and reversible from the Blocked users screen in your profile.
See our Privacy Policy section 9 for how moderation reports are processed.
6. Content ownership
You retain ownership of the content you upload (sheet music, messages, schedules, travel documents). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to other authorised participants in your festivals. We do not sell or re-license your content.
We own all rights to the StageFest software, name, logos, and underlying infrastructure.
7. Availability
We aim to keep StageFest available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance, upgrades, or to investigate security issues, and we will minimise disruption where possible.
8. Disclaimer & liability
StageFest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, except to the extent required by mandatory law.
Our total liability for any claim relating to StageFest is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100 — whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may terminate your account with notice if you breach these terms or for legal/regulatory reasons.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email at least 14 days in advance, except for changes required by law which take effect immediately. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
11. Law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are resolved by Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to pursue claims locally.
